Tanqeeb is seeking an experienced Account Manager – Events to manage client relationships and event projects from brief through execution in the UAE market.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in events, with government events experience and a proven track record in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Strong client service, negotiation, and project management skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in Events / Event Management.
• Previous experience with Events Agency/Management Company/Experiential Agency or similar.
• Mandatory experience with government events or government-related projects in the UAE.
• Proven experience managing events in Abu Dhabi and/or Dubai.
• Strong client servicing, communication, negotiation, presentation and project management skills.
• Experience dealing with UAE government entities, authorities, or institutional clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the event lifecycle.
• Act as the main point of contact between clients and internal event teams.
• Understand client requirements, objectives, budgets, and event expectations.
• Develop event proposals, concepts, presentations, quotations, and project plans.

We are looking for an experienced Account Manager – Events to join our team and manage client relationships and event projects from initial brief through successful execution.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience working within an Events Agency or Event Management Company , with a proven track record of managing events in the UAE , particularly in Abu Dhabi and Dubai .

Experience working on government events and with UAE government or semi-government entities is mandatory for this position.

• Strong understanding of the UAE events market and local event ecosystem.
• Experience handling large‑scale conferences, exhibitions, forums, ceremonies, official events, or corporate events is highly preferred.
• Strong client servicing, communication, negotiation, presentation, and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects under tight deadlines.
• Preferred Candidate Profile Candidates with a demonstrated track record of working with UAE government entities and managing official or government events will be highly relevant for this position.
• An existing professional network within the UAE events and government sector is a strong advantage.
