Job summary

Van Leeuwen Pipe and Tube Gulf Fze in Dubai seeks an experienced sales professional to develop annual account plans and expand key client relationships. You will monitor performance, forecast accurately, and drive strategic initiatives while maintaining thorough documentation.

Travel ~30% for customer visits and 70% in-office activities. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in piping materials sales within Oil & Gas/EPC, strong negotiation, and ERP/SAP experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, commerce or engineering.
• Three to five years of sales in piping materials for Oil & Gas/EPC.
• Proven B2B sales and business development track record.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
• Experience with SAP and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual account plans to hit sales targets and grow accounts.

• Process POs in SAP and handover to project execution.

What are you going to do

• Develop and execute annual account plans aligned with sales targets to secure new business and expand existing accounts.
• Develop strong, long-term relationships with a number of key-accounts.
• Monitor, analyse and report account performance against established KPIs, provide accurate sales forecasts, and recommend strategic business development initiatives.
• Maintain accurate and complete sales, commercial and project-related documentation.
• Allocate approximately 30% of working time to customer visits and 70% to office-based activities.
• Review RFQ documents to identify material requirements, specifications, applicable standards, and any technical or commercial clarifications required.
• Prepare Work-files, manage supplier sourcing and selection, quotation preparation, technical and commercial bid evaluations.
• Negotiate and formalise contracts and service agreements.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely receipt of quotations, technical documents, and supporting information.
• Responsible for processing the Purchase order in SAP and preparing Purchase orders to suppliers and seamless commercial handover to project execution team.

• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills and ability to build lasting customer relationships.
• Strong interest in and understanding of technical products and solutions.
• Experienced with Microsoft Office suite and ERP (SAP).
• Based in UAE.
• In possession of UAE Driving License.
