Location: Sharjah, UAE

Position: Academic Counselor

Job Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel prospective students on suitable Bachelor’s, Master’s, Doctoral and professional programmes

• Understand students’ academic background, career goals and requirements to recommend suitable study options

• Handle enquiries received through calls, WhatsApp and social media

• Follow up with prospective students and convert enquiries into admissions

• Explain programme details, eligibility, fees, payment plans and admission procedures clearly

• Achieve assigned monthly admission and sales targets

• Guide students through the application and enrolment process

• Collect and coordinate required documents for registration

• Maintain accurate student and follow-up records in the CRM

• Coordinate with the operations team to ensure a smooth student experience

• Maintain professional and ethical communication with students

Desired Candidate Profile

• Strong communication, counselling and interpersonal skills
• Good sales, follow-up and negotiation abilities
• Target-oriented and confident in converting enquiries into admissions
• Previous experience in academic counselling, education sales, admissions or educational consultancy is preferred
• Good English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage
• Comfortable communicating with students through telephone and WhatsApp
• Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred
