Job summary

Sundus is seeking an experienced Project Manager for Piling & Deep Foundations to lead high-value Abu Dhabi-based projects. You will oversee planning, site delivery, cost control, and HSE across piling crews and site engineers.

Strong client and consultant coordination is essential. Ideal candidates will have a Civil/Geotechnical engineering degree, 7+ years in construction delivery (3+ years in piling/deep foundations), UAE/GCC experience, and fluency in Arabic and English.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering.
7+ years in construction delivery, including 3+ years in piling/deep foundations.
Experience in UAE or GCC.
Strong knowledge of FIDIC-based subcontracts and variations.
Proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project and strong Excel skills.
UAE driving license required.
Fluent Arabic and English, with client-facing leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Lead project setup, mobilization, planning, programming, resource planning and method statements.
Manage day-to-day site operations through site engineers, foremen and piling crews.
Set and monitor rig production targets and programme recovery.
Interface with main contractors, clients and consultants.
Attend progress meetings and manage RFIs, approvals and inspections.
Control project costs against tender budgets and manage site expenditure.
Document variations and claims; coordinate concrete, reinforcement and testing.
Prepare and follow up monthly payment applications through certification.
Ensure piling works meet specifications and quality requirements.
Coordinate PIT, PDA, and static load testing and handover documentation.
Lead HSE activities and develop the site team.
