Job summary

Responsibilities

Essential Candidate Requirements:

• Preparation of cost estimates for all project stages (i.e. feasibility through to pre tender estimate)
• Potentially able to carry out the necessary measurement to prepare Bills of Quantities
• Preparation of tender documents
• Providing commercial input to the PM team during the tender process
• Tender review and recommendation reporting
• Preparation of contract documents / Consultant appointments
• Change control / assessment of variations
• Assessment and agreement of Contractor’s / Consultant’s payment applications

The Role

The successful candidate will have previously worked in a similar role have a degree and professionally qualified by RICS. The role is with a leading international consultancy who are a market leader in the sector and are very well established in the Middle East with a long term stable portfolio of projects. They offer excellent career progression and the chance to work on the regions leading projects.

The successful candidate will be comfortable dealing with Contractors and Consultants (including the internal PM team). They will be dealing with Clients, and managing their expectations.

They must have the ability to cope with a number of different projects running concurrently will be important. The candidate will have the ability to delegate to junior resource where required / appropriate. In addition, must be willing to ask for assistance from line manager (likely to be me) when necessary.
