Job summary

Amazon is offering an HR Generalist internship in Dubai, UAE, focused on people operations and Amazon’s unique culture. You’ll manage HR projects across teams in MENA, supporting compensation, onboarding, development, talent acquisition, and international HR.

You’ll experience a 360‑degree view of HR strategy in a fast‑paced environment, delivering improvements to the employee experience and supporting a high‑performing workforce. The internship is hybrid and varies by team.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration, management, economics, e‑commerce, mathematics, engineering, statistics or related field with graduation between June 2024 and June 2026.
• Legal right to work in UAE.
• Fluent written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Manage a project from beginning to end with an Amazon HR team in MENA.
• Collaborate with compensation HR managers, business partners, onboarding, training and development, talent acquisition or international HR.
• Gain a 360‑degree view of Amazon’s HR approach in a fast‑paced environment to support a high‑powered workforce.

Key job responsibilities In this role you will manage a project from beginning to end with one of Amazon’s HR teams in MENA. Projects will vary from working with compensation HR managers and business partners onboarding training and development talent acquisition or international HR.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Enrolled in or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration management economics e‑commerce mathematics engineering statistics or related field with a graduation date between June 2024 and June 2026
• Legal right to work in UAE
• Fluent written and verbal communication in English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong academic leadership and/or extracurricular record.
• Majors and/or concentrations in HR HR Management Organizational Development Business Administration or related fields.
• Effective interpersonal written and oral communication with a keen focus on delivering business results.
• Demonstrated track record in using data and metrics to make decisions and build scalable solutions.
• Ability to influence across all levels of an organization.
• Ability to act strategically and make decisions under ambiguity.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
