Job summary
A leading healthcare provider in South Africa is looking for an Enrolled Nurse to deliver safe, quality nursing care. The role involves collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining accurate records. Candidates must hold an Enrolled Nurse Certificate, with preference given to those having at least a year of post-qualification experience. The position is permanent and based on-site in Somerset West.
Qualifications
- Enrolled Nurse Certificate is essential.
- 1 year post qualification experience is desired.
Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care according to the Scope of Practice.

To deliver safe, quality nursing care according to the Scope of Practice
Deliver quality nursing care in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team
Identify, prevent and report risks to ensure patient safety
Facilitate a positive patient experience by creating a conducive environment
Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions

Ensure that all utilised stock and equipment are accurately charged
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Enrolled Nurse Certificate
DESIRED EDUCATION: For specialised wards, CPD courses in specific specialityarea
ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: None
DESIRED EXPERIENCE: 1 year post qualification experience before placement in a specialised unit
- Basic life support trained
- Infection prevention and control
- Pharmacology
- Scientific nursing principles and process
- Nursing processes and procedures
