Placements24 seeks a dynamic Youth Sports Program Manager to lead Benoni’s youth sports initiatives. You will design curricula, recruit/train coaches, manage registrations, and ensure safety and quality across all activities.

The role focuses on development, coordination with schools and centers, and creating engaging, inclusive programs for children and adolescents in Gauteng. On-site presence is required to foster community engagement.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Sports Management, Recreation, Education or related field.
• Experience: 3–5 years in managing youth sports programs or similar initiatives.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is required.

Responsabilidades

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dynamic and dedicated Youth Sports Program Manager to lead and develop their youth sports initiatives in Benoni, Gauteng . This role is focused on creating safe, engaging, and developmental sports experiences for children and adolescents. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in youth development, sports coaching, and program administration. You will be responsible for designing program curricula, recruiting and training coaches, managing participant registration, and ensuring the overall quality and safety of all youth sports activities. Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Recreation, Education, Child Development, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in managing youth sports programs or similar youth development initiatives.
• Strong understanding of child development principles and coaching methodologies for young athletes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in coach recruitment, training, and evaluation.
• Proficiency in event management and participant registration systems.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and risk management in youth sports.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
• Passion for working with children and promoting the benefits of sports participation.
