Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a passionate Youth Development Facilitator to empower youth in the Port Elizabeth community through education, life skills training and mentorship. The role involves hands-on engagement in schools and community centers to foster growth, resilience and positive social involvement.

You will design and deliver engaging activities, collaborate with schools and parents, and monitor program outcomes to ensure ongoing improvement and impact for local youth in the Eastern Cape.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Education, Social Work, Psychology, or Youth Development.
• Demonstrated experience working with youth in facilitation or mentoring capacity.
• Strong understanding of adolescent development and common youth challenges.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, and travel locally within Port Elizabeth.
