Job summary
Top Vitae Recruitment is seeking a WMS specialist to own all activities related to the Warehouse Management System, performing maintenance, updates, troubleshooting, and knowledge sharing with the team.
You will define requirements for upgrades, implement support, and work with IT and operations to design and implement solutions. Travel locally and internationally as needed.
The role demands strong analytical thinking and ability to translate business concepts into deliverables.
Qualifications
- BSc/BCom in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience.
- 1 year experience in logistics.
- Softeon experience advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Define business requirements for WMS upgrades and configuration.
- Implement and provide WMS support across facilities.
- Conduct WMS setup, client onboarding, and upgrades.
- Manage operational system changes and supplier communications.
- Create training documents and resources.
- Develop testing scenarios, perform tests, troubleshoot.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff on configurations and stock reconciliations.
- Assist departments with WMS requests.
- Document SOPs and update training manuals.
- Support WMS integrations with other systems.
- Respond to technical support requests via calls, email, etc.
- Coordinate projects; travel as needed for implementations.
