This role requires a professional driver with a passion for the wine sector, exceptional care in handling delicate products, and an intimate knowledge of the local vineyard routes. You will be responsible for ensuring that our client's valuable products reach their destinations in pristine condition, maintaining brand reputation and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

• Operate a specialized vehicle to transport wine and related products safely and efficiently.
• Plan and execute daily delivery routes to wineries, distributors, and clients within the Stellenbosch, Western Cape area and surrounding wine regions.
• Ensure all wine shipments are handled with extreme care to prevent breakage or damage to labels and packaging.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including order verification and proof of delivery.
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections, ensuring it is clean and well-maintained, especially its cargo area.
• Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and specific handling requirements for alcoholic beverages.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients, acting as a professional representative of our client.
• Communicate any delivery issues or delays promptly to the logistics coordinator.
• Assist with inventory checks and stock management as required.
• Uphold the high standards of quality and service associated with premium wine logistics.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license (Code B or higher) with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a delivery or logistics role.
• Demonstrated experience and familiarity with the Stellenbosch, Western Cape wine region and its road network.
• Proven ability to handle fragile goods with care and precision.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Professional appearance and attitude.
