Job summary

Goldwind Africa Region Center is seeking an Electrical Quality Engineer to lead electrical interfaces across wind farm projects in Africa. You will oversee QA/QC, substation equipment verification, and commissioning oversight, coordinating with clients, designers, and EPC partners.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, active professional registration, and strong communication skills to ensure project success from design through commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Professional registration (ECSA Pr.Eng/Tech/Technician) or candidate eligible to register.
• General knowledge of design/simulation software and proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong communication and coordination capacity.
• Demonstrated knowledge of electrical engineering principles, practices, and methods.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical interfaces with clients, designers, suppliers, and constructors.
• Oversee BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and EPC bid submissions.
• Develop engineering systems, tools, documents, and QA/QC procedures.
• Verify electrical components in substations and oversee commissioning.
• Attend progress and interface meetings with EPC contractors.
