Job summary

Copper Quail Global is recruiting on behalf of a leading Renewable Energy IPP for an experienced Wind Development Manager to support the growth of their project pipeline across Africa. You will drive wind project development from early-stage through to financial close, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders to deliver on time and within budget.

The role requires 5+ years in wind energy development, a degree in engineering or related field, and a proven track record in tendering,

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in wind energy project development.
• Strong experience across development planning, tenders, and project execution.
• Solid understanding of the renewable energy regulatory environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead greenfield wind project development
• Manage acquisition of brownfield projects
• Coordinate tender submissions and bid processes
• Oversee land, legal, and development workstreams
• Drive new business development across the region
• Evaluate technical and commercial feasibility of projects
• Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget
