Job summary

SACAP (The South African College of Applied Psychology) seeks a WIL Coordinator for the Durban Campus to support student success by coordinating meaningful experiential learning opportunities.

You will supervise student placements, monitor progress, and partner with industry to align work-integrated learning with academic outcomes, ensuring compliance and quality assurance across the programme.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level psychology qualification (BPsych equivalent).
• Active HPCSA registration for at least 3 years is essential.
• 2+ years in WIL, student support or academic coordination roles.
• Experience in programme coordination and admin management.
• Knowledge of professional practice requirements and industry trends.
• Experience in SA Higher Education is advantageous.
• Strong digital literacy with LMS, SIS and MS Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, teamwork and ethics.
• Organised, with strong planning and time management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate work-integrated learning opportunities for students.
• Supervise placements, monitor progress and provide guidance.
• Support student success through academic and career development activities.
• Build and maintain relationships with industry and community partners.
• Coordinate placements and projects, ensuring compliance with QA requirements.
• Provide administrative support and manage placement logistics.
