Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for their Mossel Bay facility in the Western Cape. You will oversee Receiving and Dispatch, lead a dedicated team, ensure accurate inventory records, and drive safety and efficiency across daily operations.

The role requires 3–5 years in warehouse operations with supervisory experience, strong WMS knowledge, and excellent leadership and communication skills. Western Cape logistics experience is beneficial and a competitive salary is offered.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in warehouse operations with 1–2 years in supervision.
• Proven experience in receiving and dispatch functions.
• Strong understanding of WMS and inventory control.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in warehouse.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Experience in the Western Cape logistics sector is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily receiving and dispatch activities.
• Ensure timely unloading and loading of shipments.
• Verify incoming goods against PO and delivery notes; report discrepancies.
• Manage flow from receiving to put-away and storage to dispatch.
• Implement health and safety regulations in receiving/dispatch.
• Monitor performance; provide training and reviews.
• Optimize warehouse layout and space in receiving/dispatch zones.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
• Address operational issues and implement solutions for smooth workflow.
• Foster a positive and productive team environment.
