Job summary

Wellness Warehouse in Cape Town is seeking a Sales Assistant to greet customers with a smile, identify needs and advise on options/services/products available.

You will open/close procedures, ensure stock accuracy and promotions are up to date, handle cash at the point of sale and contribute to achieving sales targets while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Wellness Warehouse experience as a Sales Assistant.
• Wellness Academy Foundation Training and Specialization Training completed.
• Fully computer-literate.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work weekends and extended retail hours.
• Competency assessment achieved.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and assist with needs.
• Identify customer needs and offer optimal options.
• Suggest alternatives when items are unavailable and meet sales targets.
• Maintain awareness of new lines and promotions.
• Follow opening and closing procedures and ensure accurate stock counts.
• Check product expiry dates and assist at the point of sale.
• Maintain merchandising principles and ensure every item is tagged.
