Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Well Integrity Engineer to join a growing Oil & Gas team operating on a hybrid basis from Mahikeng, North West. The role centers on maintaining structural integrity and reliability of wells, developing WIMS, and driving compliance with industry standards throughout the asset lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years in well integrity or related fields, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work across engineering teams in a hybrid setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in well integrity, completions, or related fields in Oil & Gas.
• Strong understanding of well construction, completion design, and subsurface operations.
• Knowledge of well integrity standards, regulations, and industry best practices (IOGP, API).
• Experience in conducting risk assessments related to well integrity.
• Proficiency in well integrity software and data management tools is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team and cross-functional environments.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing office and remote work.
