Job summary

Tiger Brands in Brakpan is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Forklift Operator to keep production and distribution operations running smoothly.

You will load stock from the warehouse to third-party warehouses and production areas, operate a forklift per WI-SHEMS-1, and perform 5S housekeeping, stock verification, and stock takes. You will work safely to protect equipment, products, and personnel.

Qualifications

• Matric/ grade 12 (Mathematics and Physical Science - desired)
• 1 year in a manufacturing environment (preferably FMCG)
• Valid Forklift Drivers licence

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift as per work instruction WI-SHEMS-1
• Loading from the warehouse to 3rd party warehouses and production areas/ waste areas and offloading of stock to the warehouse
• Transportation of stock/consumables
• Housekeeping / 5S on site
• General tasks when required
• Loading of production stock onto Depalletizer and removal of product from palletizer to finished goods areas
• Stock centralization at the warehouse
• Stock verification for stock take preparation as required
• Ensure safety of equipment, fellow workers, products and property
• Ensure daily return of returnable materials and return of reject materials within 5 working days as per the SOP
• Participate on stock take and cycle counts
• Participate on MECP activities
• Housekeeping and 5S
