The ideal candidate will have certified qualifications, hands-on experience with plant equipment, and the ability to perform accurate water testing.

Qualifications

• Certified Water Treatment Plant Operator or equivalent qualifications.
• Knowledge of water treatment processes and regulatory requirements.
• Experience operating and maintaining water treatment plant equipment.
• Ability to perform accurate water quality testing and adjustments.
• Strong safety procedures knowledge for chemical handling and plant operations.
• Willingness to work shifts and respond to emergencies in Kimberley.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor water treatment plant equipment, including pumps, filters, and chemical feeders.
• Collect and test water samples to ensure quality meets regulatory standards.
• Adjust treatment processes and chemical dosages as needed to maintain optimal water quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on plant machinery and systems.
• Maintain detailed operational logs and records of treatment processes and test results.
• Respond to alarms and emergency situations to ensure plant safety and operational continuity.
