Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Registration as Pr Eng or Candidate Engineer with ECSA is required.
• At least 4 years of civil engineering experience in water and sanitation projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and water/wastewater design software is expected.

Responsibilities

• Design water reticulation plans including pipelines, tanks, and pump stations.
• Design wastewater collection systems and effluent disposal infrastructure.
• Perform hydraulic calculations and feasibility studies for water projects.
• Prepare drawings, specifications and bill of quantities.
• Ensure compliance with SANS and municipal bylaws.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and stakeholders on projects.
• Supervise sites to monitor progress and quality of work.
• Assist in tender preparation and bid evaluation.
• Address site queries and maintain project documentation.
• Maintain comprehensive project records and reports.
