Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Recruitment Consultant for the Water and Environmental Services sector based in Upington, Northern Cape. The role blends office collaboration with remote work in a hybrid setup, focusing on sourcing and placing water engineers, environmental scientists, and technicians for consultancies and service providers.

Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years in recruitment, with a demonstrated interest in sustainability and strong client relationship management.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recruitment experience, preferably in technical/scientific/engineering sectors.
• Strong interest or experience in water management, environmental science, or sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for Water and Environmental Services roles.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients in water management and environmental consulting.
• Source and attract specialised talent including engineers, scientists, and technicians.
• Conduct candidate assessments to verify technical expertise and alignment with client needs.
• Provide market insights and consultative advice on talent availability and industry trends.
• Negotiate offers and facilitate onboarding for successful candidates.
• Stay informed about regulatory requirements and best practices in water/environmental management.
• Maintain accurate candidate and client records in the recruitment database.
• Achieve and exceed recruitment targets and KPIs for the sector.
