Qualifications

• Matric certificate or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years in a warehouse, with at least 1 year in a team lead or supervisory role.
• FMCG handling experience is a strong advantage.
• Good understanding of warehouse operations, safety, and inventory control.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic computer literacy; familiarity with WMS is a plus.
• Good communication skills and conflict resolution ability.
• Physical fitness for manual tasks including lifting.
• Must reside in or commute reliably to Benoni.

About the Role

Our client, a major distributor of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), is seeking a motivated and proactive Warehouse Team Lead to supervise operations at their busy facility in Benoni, Gauteng . This hands-on leadership role is critical for ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of a high volume of goods. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding a team, optimizing workflow, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring timely order fulfillment. This position is central to the smooth functioning of the Logistics & Warehousing operations.
