Overview

Our client in the Aluminium windows and doors hardware industry is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor. Lead a small crew, keep operations running smoothly, and take ownership of inventory, dispatch, and daily logistics. If you’re organized, reliable and ready to make an impact, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Logistics: fully accountable for receiving, picking, packing, and dispatch; manage dedicated vehicle and courier cut-off times; ensure FIFO is a priority; chair and document verbal scorecard sessions every two months with notes on file.
  • Shipping and delivery: ensure sales invoices are delivered within agreed lead times; manage relationships with providers; plan optimal routes and review efficiency and cost; handle couriers with cost-effective quotes/bookings and review lead times and customer satisfaction; assess alternative service providers.
  • Stock and warehouse management: manage local stock purchases per budget and ensure ample stock; approve all orders; conduct regular stock checks including daily cycle counts, monthly counts, and quarterly wall-to-wall counts; ensure hygiene and proper stocking practices; perform dispatch spot checks as instructed.
  • Quality and compliance: 5% unit QC on inbound stock, ramping to 20% if non-conformances identified; apply stickers and manage subsequent actions; maintain housekeeping standards; comply with OHS Act; pre-stock take protocol; no food or drink permitted.
  • Reporting: provide weekly stock, backorder, and ETA reports to NOM and NSM; deliver weekly operations report by 3pm Fridays with insights.
  • General and ad-hoc: perform any ad-hoc duties delegated by Management and transition between high-level, larger-impact activities and lower-level tasks as operation demands.
