Job summary

Network Contracting in Gauteng is seeking a capable Warehouse Supervisor to manage daily warehouse activities, including receiving, picking, packing, storing and dispatching of goods. You will lead a team, distribute duties, and drive productivity and accuracy in inventory records.

The role requires Grade 12, a relevant qualification in supply chain or logistics, 3–5 years in warehousing, and at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• Relevant qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Warehouse Management advantageous.
• 3–5 years' experience in a warehouse or stock control environment.
• At least 2 years' experience in a supervisory or team leadership role.
• Experience in inventory management and warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, picking, packing, storing and dispatching of goods.
• Manage, lead and allocate duties to warehouse staff to ensure productivity and operational efficiency.
• Monitor stock levels, conduct regular stock counts and ensure accurate inventory records.
• Oversee stock movements and ensure all goods received and dispatched are correctly documented.
• Ensure proper storage, handling and identification of stock to minimise damages, losses and discrepancies.
• Coordinate deliveries, collections and distribution schedules.
• Investigate stock discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
• Ensure the warehouse is clean, organised and compliant with health and safety regulations.
• Monitor warehouse performance against operational targets and prepare regular reports.
• Liaise with procurement, production, sales and logistics departments to ensure smooth workflow.
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, productivity and cost efficiency.
