Job summary

Exceed Human Resource Consultants is seeking a Stock Controller to manage monthly stock takes, receive stock and verify quantities, and ensure accurate warehouse records in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires strong numerical skills, attention to detail and the ability to collaborate with sales and operations to minimize stock discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, inventory or stock control.
• Strong understanding of goods receiving, dispatch and stock movement processes.
• Experience with stock management systems and maintaining accurate inventory records.

• Willing to work a 5.5-day week and flexible hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Manage stock movement across multiple warehouses from receiving through to dispatch.
• Receive stock, verify quantities against purchase orders and allocate it to the correct warehouse.
• Track stock through the manufacturing and product transformation process.
• Ensure new products are correctly labelled, scanned and captured on the system.
• Verify outgoing stock against orders and invoices and process stock removals.
• Conduct monthly stock takes and investigate stock variances.
• Maintain accurate, real-time stock records and monitor stock availability.
• Implement and improve stock control processes to reduce discrepancies and prevent stock-outs.
• Maintain organised warehouse areas in line with food safety standards.
• Liaise with sales and other departments regarding stock availability and discrepancies.
• Support and train staff on stock control procedures.
