Placements24 is seeking a diligent Warehouse Receiver to manage the intake of goods at our Kimberley facility. You will inspect deliveries, verify quantities against orders, document receipts, and ensure proper storage or transfer for further processing.

This role plays a crucial part in inventory integrity, requiring accuracy, teamwork, and safe operation of basic warehouse equipment. On-the-job training and stable employment are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse receiving or material handling preferred.
• Able to operate pallet jacks and hand trucks.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

• Basic computer literacy for WMS data entry.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming shipments from carriers.
• Inspect incoming goods for damage, quantity discrepancies, and accuracy against orders.
• Record all received goods into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Report discrepancies, damages, or quality issues to the supervisor immediately.
• Stage received goods for internal distribution or put-away into storage locations.
• Maintain a clean and organized receiving area, ensuring safety and accessibility.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and accurate Warehouse Receiver to manage the intake of goods at their facility in Kimberley . This role is fundamental to maintaining inventory integrity and ensuring that all incoming shipments are processed correctly and efficiently. You will be responsible for inspecting deliveries, verifying quantities against orders, documenting receipts, and ensuring that goods are properly stored or transferred for further processing, playing a crucial role in the initial stage of the warehouse supply chain, working in a team focused on precision and operational flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming shipments from various carriers.
• Inspect incoming goods for damage, quantity discrepancies, and accuracy against purchase orders or delivery notes.
• Accurately record all received goods into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) .
• Report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues to the appropriate supervisor immediately.

• Maintain a clean and organized receiving area, ensuring safety and accessibility.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse receiving or material handling role is preferred.
