Job summary

Macsteel Tube & Pipe is seeking a reliable Operator Warehouse (Shunter) for Mac City - Elandsfontein. This physically active role covers receiving, storing, and moving material across gantries and bays, using cranes, forklifts, and side loaders.

You will scan stock movements in SAP, perform daily equipment checks, and ensure safe slinging practices and inspections. The position also includes night shift responsibilities, weighing trucks, strapping and labelling loads, and completing truck

Qualifications

• Physically active role requiring accurate material handling.
• Experience operating cranes, forklifts and side loaders.
• Knowledge of SAP warehouse software.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and move material across gantries and bays.
• Check deliveries against supplier notes.
• Pick, pack, strap, and load stock for customers and inter-branch deliveries.
• Weigh trucks and complete truck inspections during night shifts.
