Placements24 is seeking a diligent Warehouse Operations Supervisor to join the Soweto team. You will oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and shipping, ensuring accuracy, safety, and productivity standards are met.

The role requires leadership, hands-on supervision, and a commitment to operational excellence within logistics and warehousing. You will mentor staff, promote safety, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role or team leader in logistics.
• Solid understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and shipping procedures.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations applicable to warehouse operations.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and scanning technology.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on execution in Soweto.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the daily activities of warehouse personnel, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Oversee the accurate and efficient receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
• Ensure adherence to all warehouse safety protocols and company policies.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent cycle counting and stock management.
• Identify and address operational issues, resolving conflicts and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Train and mentor warehouse staff, promoting a culture of safety and efficiency.
