About the Role

Our client, a leading distributor of FMCG products, is seeking an organized and efficient Warehouse Operations Supervisor to oversee daily operations at their **Soweto, Gauteng** facility. This **Hybrid** role involves significant time on-site managing teams and operations, with some flexibility for administrative tasks or planning that can be conducted remotely. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods, managing warehouse staff, optimizing storage and inventory management, and maintaining a safe working environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse logistics, experience in supervising teams, and a commitment to operational excellence within the fast-paced FMCG sector. Your ability to motivate staff, resolve operational issues, and implement best practices will be critical to success. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role within the FMCG industry.
• Proven experience in inventory management, order fulfillment, and logistics.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent understanding of warehouse safety regulations and procedures.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and MS Office Suite.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing on‑site and remote responsibilities.
• Must be based in or willing to travel regularly to **Soweto, Gauteng**.
