About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and experienced Operations Manager to oversee their FMCG distribution center operations in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal . You will be responsible for managing all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory management, logistics, staff supervision, and ensuring operational efficiency and safety. This role demands strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of warehouse management systems and processes within the FMCG sector. The ideal candidate will drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize performance and meet the demands of a fast-paced distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, order picking, packing, and shipping of FMCG products.


• Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse layout, workflow, and inventory accuracy.


• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations within the facility.


• Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse staff to achieve operational goals.


• Manage relationships with transportation providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
