Placements24 is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee the Upington facility in the Northern Cape. This on-site leadership role focuses on efficient receiving, storage, order fulfilment and dispatch, while driving safety and inventory accuracy.

You will lead a dedicated team, implement best practices, monitor KPIs such as on-time dispatch and costs, and collaborate with transport teams to ensure smooth inbound and outbound flows.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years in warehouse management or senior supervisory role.
• Proven track record managing large-scale warehouse operations.
• Strong knowledge of inventory systems and warehouse automation.
• Experience with WMS and MS Office; strong leadership and safety skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage inventory control, including cycle counting, stocktakes, and discrepancy resolution.
• Develop and implement operational procedures to optimize workflow and productivity.

• Ensure the safe and efficient loading and unloading of goods.
• Manage warehouse space utilization and layout for optimal efficiency.
• Implement and enforce health and safety regulations within the warehouse.

About the Role

Our client, a major distributor in the Northern Cape , is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee their facility in Upington . This is a critical on-site leadership role responsible for the efficient and safe management of all warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and dispatch. The Operations Manager will lead a dedicated team, implement operational best practices, and ensure optimal inventory accuracy and turnaround times. Your expertise will be essential in driving productivity, controlling costs, and maintaining high service levels for our clients throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities
