About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Warehouse Operations Manager to lead their remote distribution center operations. In this critical role, you will oversee all aspects of warehouse management, ensuring efficient and safe operations from receiving to dispatch. You will be responsible for managing a team, optimizing workflows, and implementing best practices to achieve operational excellence. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and direct all warehouse activities, including receiving, warehousing, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and space utilization.
• Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance targets and maintain high standards of safety and quality.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations within the warehouse.
• Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
• Oversee the maintenance and proper functioning of all warehouse equipment and machinery.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in warehouse management or operations, with a proven track record of success.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
• In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management systems, and logistics best practices .
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is essential.
• Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
