Job summary

Green Marble Recruitment Consultants in Paarl invites a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, supervise receiving, packing and dispatch, and maintain accurate stock records.

You will lead and develop warehouse staff, ensure quality, safety and housekeeping, allocate resources to meet targets, and continuously improve processes. Excellent communication and problem-solving are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum tertiary qualification required.
• 3 years experience within Warehouse Operations.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Hands-on approach with the ability to actively support operational requirements.
• Strong organisational and planning ability.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Problem-solving ability.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities.
• Oversee the receiving and handling of inbound raw materials.
• Supervise packing operations and provide day-to-day direction to the warehouse and packing team.
• Ensure products are packed according to quality and operational requirements.
• Coordinate and oversee the dispatch of finished product.
• Maintain accurate stock control and inventory records.
• Conduct regular stock checks and investigate stock variances.
• Ensure warehouse housekeeping, organisation and operational standards are maintained.
• Monitor workflow and allocate resources to achieve operational targets.
• Train, support and manage warehouse staff to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, health and safety requirements and warehouse controls.
• Assist operationally where required to ensure the successful execution of warehouse activities.
