Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operations Coordinator to support its Soweto facility. You will help manage daily warehouse activities, coordinate with team members, and ensure adherence to safety and operational standards.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, with 1–2 years in warehouse or logistics support. You will contribute to process improvements and maintain accurate records while collaborating across departments to keep goods flowing efficiently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a certificate in logistics or supply chain is a plus.
• 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics support role.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management principles.
• Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the coordination of daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Support the warehouse supervisor in managing team schedules and task assignments.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and assist in conducting regular stock checks.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and security procedures within the warehouse.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Maintain organized records of warehouse activities and generate basic operational reports.
• Help identify opportunities for process improvements within the warehouse operations.
