Job summary

TechBridge Recruitment is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager for an automotive parts distribution client in Gauteng. The role is a NIGHT SHIFT position, Monday to Friday from 18h00 to 06h00, with full responsibility for warehouse operations, inventory control, receiving, dispatch, and KPI-driven cost management.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in warehouse management, hands-on leadership of large teams, and solid WMS knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of warehouse management experience, preferably in automotive parts.
• Experience managing large warehouse teams (supervisors, pickers, packers, dispatch).
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, stock control, cycle counts and stock reconciliations.
• Experience with receiving, warehousing, picking, packing and dispatch operations.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Understanding of warehouse KPIs, productivity and cost control.
• Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety and ISO 9001 / ISO 45001 standards.
• Proven ability to implement operational improvements and manage performance.
• Qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration are advantageous.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

TechBridge Recruitment is seeking an experienced, hands-on Warehouse Manager on behalf of our client in the automotive parts distribution sector.
The successful candidate will take full responsibility for warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory control, efficient receiving and dispatch, optimal productivity, cost management and on-time customer deliveries.
This is a NIGHT SHIFT position
Monday to Friday (18h00 to 06h00)

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

We are looking for a strong operational leader who understands warehouse management from the ground up — someone who is equally comfortable managing people, analysing performance reports and resolving operational challenges on the warehouse floor.
Managing a team of approxamitely 70 staff per shift.
We are NOT looking for:

• Candidates with supervisory experience only and no proven warehouse management background.
• Purely administrative or logistics coordination profiles without hands-on warehouse experience.
• Candidates without strong inventory control and people management experience.
