Job summary

Dante Personnel is seeking a Warehousing Manager to lead inventory control, coordinate inbound/outbound shipments, and optimise warehousing processes in a fast-paced environment.

The role focuses on team leadership, safety, and cross-functional collaboration with sales, workshop, procurement and finance to ensure efficient order fulfilment and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Matric; tertiary qualification preferred.
• 5+ years’ warehousing experience.
• 8+ years people management experience.
• Thorough and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities.
• Must have good customer focus and service delivery orientation.
• Problem solving and solutions orientated.
• Strong written and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inventory management with accurate stock control and correct bin locations.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments and manage transport logistics.
• Utilise space efficiently and manage storage systems, equipment and team.
• Implement stock controls to minimise adjustments.
• Prioritise employee safety and ensure health and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with sales, workshop, procurement and finance for cross-department communication.
• Develop strategies to optimise warehousing and logistics processes.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement action plans.
• Build and maintain relationships with service providers and internal customers for high service levels.
• Oversee warehouse equipment, machinery, building, and site management.

• At least 5 years’ experience in Warehousing
• 8 years People management experience

Key focus

• Inventory Management. Accurate stock control, all bin locations are maintained, and all stock is a correct bin location
• Manage the flow of goods in the Supply Chain, coordinate inbound & outbound shipments, manage transport logistics ensuring accurate order fulfilment.
• Ensure efficient utilisation of space, storage systems, equipment, and team.
• Implement inventory stock controls to minimise inventory adjustments
• Prioritise the safety of employees and ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.
• Work closely with sales, workshop, procurement and finance teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration across departments
• Implement strategies to optimise warehousing and logistics processes.
• Identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address issues
• Develop and maintain relationships with key service providers and internal customers to ensure the highest level of service and support
• Effective warehouse equipment & machinery, building and overall site management
