Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. in South Africa seeks a Warehouse Clerk to support packaging and stock control operations in the Cape Town region. The role covers prepping and packing bill of materials, barcode management, and ensuring stock takes are accurate.

• Team player with good judgement and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Prepping bill of material packaging (bags and buckets).
• Picking and packing of bill of material.
• Ensuring that bill of material is always stocked.
• Checking the levels of the bill of material packaging (bags, buckets, barcodes etc).
• Control and management of all barcodes.
• Ensure that bill of material is packed correctly for stock take purposes.
• Checking of incoming stock and packing it on the shelves (FIFO).
• Record all duties (Production) on an excel sheet, daily.
• Notify pharmacovigilance within one business day or three calendar days for product complaints.
