Qualifications

Responsibilities

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory audits regularly to ensure accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Monitor inventory levels and report on stock movement, potential shortages, and overstock situations.
• Ensure proper stock rotation (e.g., First-In, First-Out) is maintained.
• Collaborate with the receiving and shipping teams to ensure accurate recording of goods in and out of the warehouse.
• Assist in the implementation and improvement of inventory control procedures and policies.
• Generate inventory reports for management on a regular basis.
• Ensure the warehouse is organized and inventory is stored appropriately according to safety and operational guidelines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; a certificate or diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is preferred.
• Proven experience (2-3 years) in inventory control, stock management, or a similar warehouse role.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
• Strong understanding of inventory principles and best practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting moderate weights, and working in a warehouse environment.
• Basic computer proficiency, including MS Office (Excel).
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be able to work on-site in Midrand, Gauteng .
