Our client is seeking a meticulous and organized Remote Warehouse Inventory Specialist to join their dynamic logistics team. This fully remote position is crucial for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of inventory data across multiple distribution points. You will be responsible for overseeing inventory levels, conducting regular audits, and implementing best practices to minimize discrepancies and optimize stock availability. This role offers the flexibility of working from home while playing a key role in the efficiency of the company's supply chain, serving clients throughout Durban and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory audits to verify stock levels and identify discrepancies.
• Investigate and resolve inventory variances, implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
• Monitor stock levels, forecast demand, and coordinate with procurement to ensure adequate supply while minimizing excess stock.
• Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory control and management.
• Analyze inventory data to identify slow-moving or obsolete items and recommend appropriate actions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Inventory Specialist, Warehouse Administrator, or similar role within logistics.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles and techniques.
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
