Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Ensure efficient and accurate processing of inbound and outbound shipments, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in compliance with all company policies and safety regulations.
• Train new warehouse staff on procedures, safety protocols, and the use of warehouse equipment.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in conducting regular stock counts to ensure accuracy.
• Address and resolve operational issues and conflicts on the warehouse floor promptly and effectively.
• Operate various warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, as needed.
• Report on operational performance, including productivity, accuracy, and safety incidents.
• Foster a positive and collaborative team spirit among warehouse personnel.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Demonstrable knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping procedures.
• Experience operating forklifts and other relevant warehouse machinery is essential.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
