Responsibilities

• Record all Receiving documentation on the Receiving sheet.
• Double check stock description and quantities against documentation.
• Check for damages.
• Inform the Buyers of any discrepancies immediately.
• Make out the Return for Credit to the Supplier and ensure it is signed.
• Sign the Waybill from the supplier.
• Do all GRV’s immediately.
• Label all stock correctly.
• Ensure that the stock is put away by COB every day.
• Liaise with Buyers/Store Manager for stock returns to the Supplier.
• Assist with couriers and IBTs when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness in the Marking area, and check for unauthorized access.
• Take disciplinary action if necessary.
• Report issues to the Store Manager.

Warehouse Clerk

Our client in the Retail Industry is looking for a Warehouse Clerk to join their team.

Job Location: Gqeberha

Job Type: Permanent

Duties and Responsibilities

• Record all Receiving documentation on the Receiving sheet
• Double check stock description and quantities against documentation
• Check for damages
• If any discrepancies, inform the Buyers immediately
• Make out the Return for Credit to the Supplier and it must be signed
• When all is correct sign the Waybill from the supplier/courier
• Do all GRV’s immediately
• Make out the Return for Credit to the Supplier when required
• Ensure a 2nd check is done on all stock received
• Label all stock correctly
• Ensure that the stock is put away by COB every day
• Liaise with Buyers/Store Manager to arrange for stock to go back to the Supplier
• Assist with the IBT’s, couriers etc when the IBT Clerk is on leave/sick
• Assist to dispatch the Return for credit items when the courier come and pick it up when required
• Carry out all reasonable and lawful instructions
• Adhere to the Airlock system at all times
• Ensure the Marking area is clean
• Assist where needed when required in other departments
• Ensure no unauthorised people in the back stores
• Take disciplinary action where needed
• Report all electrical, plumbing, etc. to the Store Manager
