Paarl-based Viticulture Researcher position with Placements24, focusing on advancing grape cultivation through rigorous experiments, data analysis, and sustainable practices. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research setting.
• Experience in the South African wine industry and Paarl context is a plus.

About the Role

Our client is seeking an innovative Viticulture Researcher to join their esteemed research and development team based in Paarl. This role is dedicated to advancing the science of grape growing through rigorous research, experimentation, and data analysis. You will be involved in exploring new varietals, improving cultivation techniques, and developing sustainable practices to enhance grape quality and vineyard resilience. This position is perfect for a scientist passionate about uncovering new knowledge in viticulture and applying it to real-world agricultural challenges within the Western Cape's premier wine regions.
