Job summary

Dis-Chem Pharmacies in Dainfern seeks a Health Consultant specializing in vitamins and supplements to deliver outstanding customer service and drive product sales.

You will assist customers, stock displays, support promotions, and help achieve monthly targets while adhering to store procedures; the role requires Grade 12, 6 months of retail health experience, and strong English communication. This position includes market-related pay with commission and benefits.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric is required.
• At least 6 months’ sales experience in vitamins/health environment.
• Strong command of the English language.
• Computer literate – MS Office.
• Sound numerical skills.
• Willing and able to work retail hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist and advise customers, and ensure the highest levels of customer care and service.
• Assist with back shopping when requested to do so, to ensure the effective operation of the department and store.
• Keep merchandise displays in the health focus area stocked and faced up.
• Report all price discrepancies to management as they appear.
• Adhere to store layouts within the Health Department.
• Ensure broadsheet items are well displayed, merchandised, promoted and available.
• Implement promotional displays and merchandising material.
• Achieve monthly team, brand and vendor targets.
• Keep abreast with new products and product lines.
• Follow the Health Department’s administrative processes and procedures, including, but not limited to, weekly returns, stock control and monitoring of stock levels.
