Job summary

Dis-Chem Mossel Bay is seeking a Health Consultant specialized in vitamins and supplements to promote and sell Health Focus products. You will assist customers, maintain displays, and support store operations to meet sales targets and ensure excellent service.

The role requires Grade 12, at least 6 months in vitamins/health sales, strong English, MS Office skills, numerical ability, and willingness to work retail hours. Advantageous: relevant science qualifications and retail health experience.

Qualifications

• Essential: Grade 12 / Matric
• Essential: Minimum of 6 months’ sales experience in a Vitamins / Health environment
• Essential: Strong command of the English language
• Essential: Computer literate – MS Office
• Essential: Sound numerical skills
• Essential: Willing and able to work retail hours
• Advantageous: BSc Biomedicine and/or BSc Biotechnology or relevant health focus qualification
• Advantageous: Sales experience in a retail environment
• Advantageous: Experience in vitamins/health foods
• Advantageous: Fluency in a 2nd language spoken in the area

Responsibilities

• Assist and advise customers, ensuring high levels of customer care and service.
• Assist with back shopping to ensure department and store operation.
• Keep health focus displays stocked and faced up.
• Report price discrepancies to management.
• Adhere to Health Department layouts and stock levels.
• Implement promotional displays and merchandising material.
• Aim to achieve monthly team, brand and vendor targets.
• Keep up-to-date with new products and lines.
