Placements24 seeks a Visual Merchandising Specialist for a leading fashion retailer in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. You will translate brand stories into compelling retail visuals across stores, designing displays for windows, fixtures, and promotional areas.

Collaborate with marketing and retail teams to implement campaigns, develop floor plans, and ensure consistent brand presentation. This hybrid role combines remote planning with on-site execution and staff training.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Visual Merchandiser in retail, preferably fashion.
• Strong portfolio showcasing visual merchandising projects.
• Excellent understanding of design principles, color theory, and space.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute visual merchandising displays for store windows, fixtures, and promo areas.
• Collaborate with marketing/retail to translate brand guidelines into visuals.
• Develop floor plans and layouts to optimise store flow and product visibility.
• Source props, fixtures, and signage to match merchandising themes.
• Ensure brand presentation consistency across retail touchpoints.
• Train store staff on visual merchandising standards and execution.
• Monitor inventory and plan displays for new arrivals and key lines.
• Stay updated on industry trends and consumer behavior to inform visuals.
• Manage budgets for merchandising projects and materials.
• Visit stores to assess display effectiveness and identify improvements.
