Placements24 is seeking a Lead Civil Engineer to manage water and sanitation infrastructure projects in Stellenbosch, Western Cape. You will lead project teams, ensure design and implementation of treatment plants, distribution networks, and wastewater systems, and collaborate with municipal clients and regulators.

Requires a Master\'s in Civil Engineering with a Water Resources or Environmental focus, Pr.Eng registration, and 10+ years in civil engineering.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Water Resources or Environmental Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive civil engineering experience focusing on water and sanitation.
• Pr.Eng registration is required.

Responsabilités

• Lead the design and delivery of water and sanitation infrastructure projects.
• Manage scope, budgets, schedules, and resources for multiple projects.
• Mentor a team of engineers and technicians to ensure technical excellence.
• Liaise with municipal clients, regulators, and construction teams to secure approvals.
• Conduct technical reviews and ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Develop innovative sustainable water management solutions and present proposals.
