Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Virtual High School Mathematics Teacher to deliver high-quality online maths instruction for grades 10-12. This fully remote role is based in Vereeniging, Gauteng, SA, with flexible hours and a strong emphasis on engaging digital pedagogy.

You will design digital content, use LMS platforms, and collaborate with curriculum developers to ensure alignment with the South African Curriculum. A PGCE and at least 3 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Mathematical Sciences, or related field.
• PGCE or teaching registration.
• Minimum 3 years of high school maths teaching.
• Experience with online teaching and LMS (Zoom, Moodle, Google Classroom).
• Strong knowledge of the SA National Curriculum for Mathematics (grades 10-12).

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Mathematical Sciences, or a related field.
• A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE) and relevant teaching registration.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching mathematics at the high school level.
• Demonstrated experience and proficiency in online teaching environments and using virtual learning platforms (e.g., Zoom, Moodle, Google Classroom).
• Strong understanding of the South African National Curriculum for Mathematics (grades 10-12).
