Placements24 is seeking dedicated Online Mathematics Instructors to join a fully remote teaching team. This remote-first role lets you work from anywhere in South Africa while delivering high-quality mathematics instruction to learners from Grade 8 to university preparatory courses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related quantitative field.
• A recognized teaching qualification or relevant tutoring experience.
• Proven experience teaching mathematics at the high school or introductory college level.
• Demonstrated expertise in online teaching methodologies and familiarity with virtual learning platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet, LMS).
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective online mathematics lessons to students via video conferencing and our learning management system.
• Develop and adapt lesson plans and course materials to suit an online learning environment.
