Job summary

Assist World is seeking a strategic Marketing & Growth Virtual Assistant to consolidate existing digital assets into a cohesive growth plan. The role focuses on scaling followers, engagement, leads, and online course sales, with responsibilities including video editing for social content and course materials.

You will organize digital files, platforms, tasks, and goals, coordinating with an existing VA and ensuring projects stay on track through reminders, follow-ups, and clear communication.

Qualifications

• 3–4+ years of experience in digital marketing, growth marketing, or social media strategy, preferably supporting coaches, creators, or personal brands.
• Proven experience growing audiences, engagement, and leads, supported by a portfolio and performance analytics.
• Strong understanding of sales funnels, CRM systems, email marketing, landing pages, and online course sales.

Responsibilities

• Review existing CRM systems, mailing lists, landing pages, and online course offerings to develop a cohesive marketing and sales strategy.
• Plan and execute growth initiatives to increase followers, engagement, leads, and course sales.
• Manage email marketing campaigns and nurture sequences, driving traffic to landing pages and digital products.
• Lead targeted outreach and marketing campaigns focused on scalable growth.
• Edit video footage into engaging short-form social content and online course materials.
• Maintain a consistent content calendar across multiple platforms.
• Monitor marketing performance and provide regular reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
• Organise digital folders, files, footage, platforms, tasks, and goals into a clear shared workflow.
• Develop weekly action plans and coordinate responsibilities with the existing VA.
• Manage reminders, monitor calendars and communications, and follow up on outstanding tasks.
• Support project coordination to ensure deliverables are completed on time.
• Attend Zoom check-ins a couple of times per week and remain available on WhatsApp during agreed working hours.

An established coaching and creative business led by a performing musician, college professor, and coach with a background in mental health and music. The founder has developed a unique method that explores the relationship between voice and trauma, offering private coaching alongside conferences, workshops, touring, and live performances. A book is also currently in development.

The business already has a CRM, mailing list, landing page, and low-ticket online courses in place, with the next phase focused on scaling and sustainable growth.

Role Overview

We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Marketing & Growth Virtual Assistant who can bring together existing marketing assets into one cohesive growth strategy.

The primary focus is scaling the business by increasing followers, engagement, leads, and online course sales. The role also involves video editing for social media and course content.

Alongside marketing, the successful candidate will help organise digital files, footage, platforms, tasks, and goals into a structured, actionable plan. • Confidence using AI tools to streamline workflows, content creation, and marketing strategies.
• Strong creative ability with an artistic eye for visual content and branding.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with project management tools such as Asana, ClickUp, Trello, or Notion.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and scheduling tools such as Calendly.
• Strategic and proactive mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities and recommend improvements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including Zoom and WhatsApp.
• Reliable internet connection, power backup, and a stable remote working environment.
• Professional discretion and confidentiality, particularly when working with sensitive coaching-related information.
• An interest in music, the arts, wellness, or personal development is advantageous.

Contract & Logistics

• Hours: Part-time, starting at 10 hours per week, with the potential to increase based on performance and business needs.
• Schedule: Agreed weekly working hours, providing a consistent window for communication and collaboration.
• Contract: Initial two-month commitment, followed by a month-to-month arrangement.
• Confidentiality: NDA and confidentiality agreement required.
• Interview Process: Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a one-hour interview approximately one week after job description approval.
• Application Requirements: CV, portfolio, and relevant performance analytics.
• Additional Assessment: Shortlisted candidates may be asked to submit a brief Loom video reviewing a website or social media profile and suggesting marketing improvements.
