Placements24 is seeking a Guest Relations Manager for a flagship luxury hotel in Midrand, Gauteng. The role focuses on overseeing guest satisfaction, front desk operations, and service excellence to drive loyalty and outstanding guest experiences.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in guest-facing luxury hospitality, strong leadership, and proficiency with Opera or Fidelio. English fluency is essential; additional languages are a plus. Flexible weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in a guest-facing role within luxury hospitality.
• Proven track record in guest relations or front office operations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English and proficiency in at least one other international language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty programs.
• Oversee front desk operations, ensuring seamless check-in and check-out experiences.
• Manage guest feedback, address complaints, and resolve issues with professionalism and empathy.
• Train and mentor front desk staff to uphold high service standards.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments to meet guest requests promptly.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel services and local attractions to provide expert recommendations.
• Monitor online reviews and respond to guest sentiment.
